We have all been carried by our mothers, in a womb, have all been birthed into this world. Magical fact: the egg that was necessary for you to be conceived, was already inside your grandmother’s womb! A woman's eggs are all created inside her mothers womb.

Join us for a tender, raw, and honest conversation about the ups and downs of welcoming a second child into the family. In this episode, Indigo shares her journey as a mother travelling through her second pregnancy. Although Indigo feels deep love for her baby, we also make space for the more taboo and rejected aspects of her pregnancy journey including facing loss of the family unit, gender grief, facing near miscarriage, loss of control and ultimately learning to surrender. Ultimately, this is a conversation about learning to mother the mother within, making space for all that we feel on our journey.

This week’s offerings:Heart Point: My baby will come when he or she is ready
~ Self Share: External pressure once we pass our ‘due date’. Marlies and Indigo have both experienced this. The medical profession can use frightening terminology. Marlies ~ during birth I was rushed. Marlies ~ speaking to the women trying to conceive and waiting.
~ World Share: Australia has the highest rate of induction. Domino effect of interventions, medicalisation of birth. Manufacturability ~ want to control everything big fear over loss of control (that we don’t actually have), want to control our when, how we get pregnant, what gender/how many children, what our birth will look like (birth wishes [plans] - how I want to ‘look’ as how I want it to feel) and we lose the ability to birth naturally. Knowing our options can be empowering.
~ Strategy of self-care: Make a vision board of how you would like to feel and how you want to experience your birth.

In this week’s episode, we have a mind and heart expanding conversation with Tara Behr covering childhood trauma, psychedelics and Christianity.
Tara is a psychotherapist, poet, writer, and singer-songwriter based in Colorado Springs. In addition to working with men, women, and couples who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma, Tara writes poetry and essays on radical feminism, interpersonal phenomenology, animism, Christian mysticism, and psychedelic-assisted therapy.
Tara's life has been dedicated to the discovery of what supports human flourishing and what prevents it. She believes it is our birthright to be connected to freedom, compassion, self-love, and people who respect, honour, and mirror you in your goodness. As a survivor of psychedelic abuse, Tara brings a nuanced and balanced view to the conversation around psychedelic assisted therapy.
Psychedelics will not save you or the world, but love will. Singing our song of truth is the deepest medicineYou are a sacred being of divine light, not a problem to be fixed.

Are you navigating a time of transition? Perhaps you’re ending a relationship or are in a new one, perhaps you’re coming to terms with a life changing diagnosis, preparing for motherhood, or starting a new career… You might find your sense of self is shifting and things suddenly feel uncertain and overwhelming. Whatever the circumstances, transition is something we all know intimately and must dance with constantly throughout our lives.
To be in transition is to be in a liminal space. It’s the messy, murky unknown we encounter when we’ve left behind what’s familiar and are on the precipice of something new. Navigating times of transition can be an uncomfortable and confusing experience. Yet times of transition are also rites of passage that hold enormous potential for growth and self-discovery.
How Indigo came to choose “transition” as the topic for her doctorate and why this topic is close to our heartsTransitions as an invitation to learn to be with discomfort and “not knowing”Navigating the transition to private practice as therapists Transitional places as sacred spaces Finding practices that support and hold you in times of transition Learning to slow down and be open to what is emerging How times of transition can invite encounters with SoulNavigating grief and loss in times of transition
Join us as we explore the messiness and transformational potential of transitions big and small.

“Motherhood is the true hero’s journey―which is to say that it can be as harrowing as it is joyful, and enlightening as it is exhausting. For Jungian psychoanalyst Lisa Marchiano, this journey is not just an adventure of diaper bags and parent-teacher conferences, but one of intense self-discovery.”
Drawing on Jungian analysis, fairy tales, myths, folklore, client case studies and personal stories, each chapter takes us on an inner journey of self-discovery that is sure to change the way you feel about your own mothering journey.
We invite you to settle down with a cup of tea and your journal as we take a deep dive into the journey of descent and initiation that is motherhood. For each book club episode we’ll be exploring a chapter from Lisa Marchiano’s deeply compassionate and insightful book Motherhood: Facing and Finding yourself.

How can we maintain a sense of equanimity in today’s world? With so many pressures and increasing polarisation, how can we, both individually and collectively, contribute to healthy change? How can we as mothers balance the demands of the material world with caring for our soul life and the soul life of our children?
Join us as we explore how to face the challenges of our times with Jane Gilmer. Jane is a transformational guide, theatre artist and author of The Alchemical Actor. Her work with psyche, or soul, is a deeply alchemical process influenced by the depth psychology of Carl Jung and the spiritual science of Rudolf Steiner.
Jane brings so much wisdom, heart and soul to this topic, and we invite you to listen with an open heart and mind as we explore the challenges of today’s world from a mystical perspective.
