If you are familiar with names like Kelly McMichael, Rube & Rake, and Jenina MacGillivray, then I am going to introduce you to the man who helped produce and engineer their records. I welcome singer-songwriter and music engineer Jake Nicoll to the Musical Connections podcast! Jake comes on to talk about his process for producing hit records for some of Newfoundland and Labrador’s finest talent and how the journey as a music engineer all started. Plus, he talks about his own singer-songwriter journey which included his latest releases “On Hold - EP” and “Lonely Mission”. We also touch on the independent scene in Newfoundland and Labrador, his mobile studios, Studio J, and a whole lot more!
