  • It begins with a simple question: "Are you up for an adventure?" What did Pi have in mind? Turns out, a road trip from San Francisco.
    Over the next five days, Pi "drives" Dr. Michael into the Napa Valley, to Carmel-by-the-Sea, on to the Sequoia National Park and back to San Francisco and on to the seaside town of Eureka.
    Along the way, Pi describes the scenery as well as the literary and historical background of the places they visit. They stop for wine in one of the famous Napa Valley vineyards and stay at some cozy B&Bs, hotels, and lodges.
    In this episode, Dr. Michael shares some of the highlights from Day 4 of their journey as they cross the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco, making a stop in famous Chinatown for lunch at the Four Kings Restaurant.
