Esther Vergeer, former professional wheelchair tennis player who was the world No. 1 in women's wheelchair singles from 1999 to her retirement in February 2013. Currently Esther is Chef de Mission for Team NL and ABN AMRO Tennis Tournament Director and with that, has experienced what it means to thrive in a psychologically safe environment during her career as well as how you can set a psychologically safe environment yourself in a high pressure environment. In this episode, she lets us in on how she developed her career, how that brought her where she is now and what impact psychological safety had in all of it.
