This summer, winter coats in NYC really DO remind us of "War and Peace"… we’re talking 90s Upper East Side debutante culture that doesn’t exist anymore, the comedy of pretentiousness, Halley not reading Hamlet, Veronica’s hatred of the character Audrey, David's overall wisdom of absurdity, the death of friend groups, the idea of not having a drivers license because you live in NYC, pulling a train, and why a movie about a bunch of high society douchebags is actually hysterically good and deep and fun and comedy GOLD.
