Firstly an apology. As the name suggests this podcast is adult content heavy! Sorry Gill... Anyway...
The Slick Boyz are joined by actor, comedian and writer Tom Johnson. His wacky form of comedy is on the road summer 2025 so grab a ticket to see him live.
They talk about meeting somebody who might have been Noddy Holders daughter in law on a 'telly thing' (Beth Fox not Bett Riddler), if a potato is better than an onion, why his microwave stinks of eels and other nice things Tom Johnson has been up to (despite how much he hates compliments).
Catch Tom Johnson @ Bath Fringe from 4th June 2025 or The Rik Mayall Comedy Festival 7th June OR his show "Verbal Diary" whenever you can!
As ever, if you've enjoyed this podcast please give @tomjohnsonactor a follow!

Recorded at the awesome Thameside Theatre in Grays, Essex, the Slick Boys usual ramblings were halted part way through a chat... was it their fault? Was it an unavoidable accident? WHO KNOWS! Certainly not us. Either way, with a slight bit of tweaking the rest of the chat is perfectly fine and features us sending some love to our spiritual home The Thameside.
Whether you came to see our live show there a few years ago or caught John in Pantomime but haven't been back - check 'em out and see what great shows they have coming up!

LIVE! (well, recorded) from our brand new studio (well, toilet). In this weeks dose of ridiculous chat Ross & John talk about life as a medieval peasant, how ancient statues had AVERAGE SIZE penises and how much they enjoy a bloody good sneeze!
Thanks for listening!

The Boyz catch up with improv superstar Ali James! Talking about the Southend 48Hour Improvathon, our favourite words, and John's pyjama shorts. Will Ross ever send his medical form...? Probably not.
Ali James has worked with Mischief Theatre, makers of the critically acclaimed "Goes Wrong" shows, the Comedy Store players and is part of Olivier Award winning Showstopper! the improvised musical - stars of the Edinburgh Fringe and London's glittering West-End. She's also John's wife. Which is nice.
Southend 48hr Improvathon 2025 starts 7pm Friday 25th and runs til Sunday 27th of April just £5 per episode, with a kid friendly episodes available 1-3 Saturday and Sunday - @southend48thon on the socials.

Recorded live from our new home Up The Road bar in Westcliff and interrupted partway through by friend of the show Jess Ackland (who doesn't feature) the lads discuss relocating Little Smash Comedy, the local snooker league and bunking off work to play computer games.
Thanks for bearing with us while we got settled gang, we appreciate your support and will endeavour to get these episodes out regularly.
