Jack reflects on Spurs' impressive 4-1 victory over West Ham. After going 1-0 down to a Kudus goal, the team rallied brilliantly, with Dejan Kulusevski playing a pivotal role in the turnaround. Jack discusses how Ange Postecoglou’s side bounced back from the disappointment of the Brighton defeat and enjoyed a solid afternoon at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Coyssssss

Well, that was quite annoying wasn't it? Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham thought they were flying, and just as we were starting to believe, things came crashing down to earth with a thud. A disasterclass from our defence on the South Coast.

Well, that was unexpected! Spurs have just rocked up to Old Trafford and battered Man United in their own backyard – a place we've historically had little joy at all. Even without Sonny in the lineup, Ange Postecoglou's boys turned it on, with Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevski, and Dominic Solanke all getting on the scoresheet, piling the pressure on Erik ten Hag.
In this episode of Rule the Roost, I’m reacting to the massive win, talking through what went right, and whether this could be the spark for us after a bit of a slow start to the season.
Could this be the moment Spurs really get going under Ange?

Mark Nesbit is back, here to help Jack process the North London Derby.
Were we good? Were Arsenal just better? That's another loss them, why does it keep happening?
We talk about Romero, Kulusevski, how much time Ange has left and many other things.
Mark chose the music for this week's pod btw.

Jack reacts to Tottenham's dominant 4-0 win over Everton in their first home game of the season. Son Heung-min led the way with a brilliant brace, while Yves Bissouma lit up the stadium with a stunning long-range strike. Cuti Romero added to the tally with a commanding header, capping off a perfect day for Spurs. Jack also highlights encouraging performances from new signing Wilson Odobert and Dejan Kulusevski, who impressed in a central role. Ange Postecoglou's men have put that disappointing draw against Leicester behind them and are looking onwards and upwards. Up the Spurs!

Jack delves into Tottenham's 1-1 draw away at Leicester City in the season opener. Pedro Porro’s first-half header put Spurs ahead, but Jamie Vardy's second-half equaliser left us frustrated, with little in the way of meaningful chances after that.
He also talks about the concerning head injury to Rodrigo Bentancur, who thankfully seems to be okay after being taken off. On a brighter note, Dominic Solanke's debut offered a glimmer of hope, but overall, it was a disappointing evening for Spurs. Tune in as Jack breaks down the match and what it means for the season ahead.

In Tottenham's first real test of pre-season, Ange Postecoglou's men didn't look great. Despite a rocket from Pedro Porro and a bright second half from Lucas Bergvall, Spurs looked uninspiring at best. Defensively suspect, and lacking any real invention or focal point upfront. It may only be a friendly, but it's still somewhat concerning. Let's hope they get some business done soon.

Spurs are back and already they're in a cup final! Tottenham take on J-Leaguers Vissel Kobe in a preseason friendly.
But before the game, there's a few things to discuss - Hojbjerg gone, was he unfairly treated? Ben Davies, 10 years - is he unfairly treated? Spurs linked with Chiesa, Neto and various other names - what do we need?
Also, Mikey Moore, the literal GOAT, or too much pressure on the lad?
