Alex and Facci discuss the news of Ayton signing with the Lakers and then answer your mailbag questions!
1). Yonatan Sela
What is YOUR opinions on what the pacers should do?
Tank? Trade pascal and tank?? See how good the team can finish without Ty? Trade to make the team better? And whichever answer you have who are the players you would most want and what would the offer be?
Love you both
2). Garrett
Do you think the loss of Myles will all but guarantee the Pacers trade Pascal? He and Ty work well together and Pascals body is in better shape than most will be 33 year olds.
3). David Matillo
Could Wiseman and IJax end up being great this season for Pacers despite coming off injury?
4). Matt Beckham
You Mentioned Miami in most recent pod. Thoughts on trading for Kalel Ware?
5). Pacers Faithful
what do you think are the players’ reactions to losing Myles- both towards the front office/ownership and Myles? Specifically Pascal who came here partially for Myles and Tyrese
6). Chandler (lengthy one)
My questions are pretty much the same even without Myles, so I'm interested in what you would say the Pacers probably do if they're somehow barely around or below 500 at the trade deadline from either not playing good enough or if they have to fight through injuries throughout the season? You think they probably make some changes or stay pat and if actually make changes, what changes would they possibly make/you would want them to make if any unless they wait until either the draft or free agency to finally make moves? I'm sure it varies on what everyone's value is at those points in the season and they also wanna make sure that Tyrese is happy with all the moves that they make, so that he isn't requesting a trade and I'm wondering if he either was told about the Myles situation before hand and cosigned or that whenever he found out, he would be content with the move as long as they have a good enough center since some star players are in the loop with everything/most moves that are going on since communication is EXTREMELY important and obviously Pascal really loved the idea of playing with Myles, so I'm really interested with how he feels about that now as well honestly... Also I'd like to add that if the Pacers somehow have a high enough pick, you think they either draft the best player available, draft a center, trade that pick plus multiple picks to either bring in another star next to Tyrese and Pascal, or trade for multiple role players that fit this roster next to Tyrese and Pascal? This was a lot, so I apologize for how long this is, but I want to say that I really wanna say thanks for everything and that I appreciate all the hard work and effort that you and @_Facci always provide for us with content and guests throughout the season to keep the podcast running so thank you #IndianaPacers #Pacers #PACERNATION #LetsGoPacers

In one of the most shocking free agency moves in the last 5 years, Indiana Pacers center, Myles Turner, signs a 4 year, $107M contract with the Milwaukee Bucks in Free Agency, ending his 10 year stint with the Pacers. Turner was reportedly offered a significantly less offer by the Pacers than what Milwaukee offered, and Turner's camp blindsided Indiana by signing with a team that had no cap space, until they waived Damian Lillard and traded Pat Connaughton.
Alex and Facci discuss the crazy day for the Pacers and what this means for the franchise moving forward. The guys look at potential options the Pacers could pivot to with Turner on the move, why they feel like Indiana not reaching a deal could be a blessing in disguise and so much more.

Heartbroken by the ending, but the journey to the final game of the season was the most incredible experience we've ever had. We love this Pacers team but HATE how it all ended. This was the GREATEST season we have ever experienced , coupled with the worst sports moment we have seen in our lives. It's hard to put it all into words, but we tried.
Thank you Setting The Pace listeners for your unwavering support of this show throughout this incredible run. Without your fandom, this show doesn't exist.
