Today, we’re talking about setting boundaries, speaking your truth, and protecting your energy—lessons Sarah Horgan learned through her cancer journey. One of her biggest realizations? People don’t think about us as much as we assume. And when we try to manage someone else’s emotions, we might actually stop them from fully processing their own feelings. Prioritizing yourself isn’t selfish—it’s necessary. Small, quiet moments—like driving in silence or making a tea latte—can help you reset and recharge.

We’re also diving into how your environment reflects what’s happening inside of you. Sometimes, a little decluttering can be more powerful than you think. Letting go—whether it’s old habits, relationships, or even physical stuff—creates space for growth and helps you step into a mindset that serves you. You don’t need to hold on to everything to be okay. It’s time to build a life that aligns with your well-being, one intentional step at a time.

Today, we’re talking about Pilates—but not just the workout. We’re diving into how Pilates trains both your body and mind, helping you build strength, focus, and resilience. If you’ve ever felt like you were just going through the motions in a workout (or in life), this episode is for you.

Pilates isn’t about getting it perfect—it’s about tuning into your body, noticing what’s happening, and showing up for yourself. Joe Pilates, the founder of Pilates, believed in training the body to come back each day, not to chase perfection, but to compare your progress to your own yesterday. The more you practice, the more possible it becomes. And yes, that also means it can get harder—but in the best way.

Lesley Logan, founder of onlinepilatesclasses.com and the Be It Till You See It Podcast, is here to help you experience this firsthand. She uses her podcast separate from Pilates to talk to people who are experts in other areas, to really allow people to tap into different areas, and help achieve other goals that they may have. Not only does she learn from this podcast, but other people can too.

Sometimes, stepping into a new version of yourself starts with a single action—so what’s stopping you? Let’s talk about it.

Today, we're talking about something so many of us wrestle with—separating who we are from what we do.

It can be easy to think that your worth is tied to your job title or how hard you're working, but really your identity is not your job. You are worthy of all the wonderful things life has to offer, simply because of who you are—not what you achieve.

Separating work from identity can be freeing. Inspired by my book Slow Living, I explore how to detach from the pressures of defining ourselves by our careers. JL Collins talks about The FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) movement, in his book The Simple Path to Wealth. It reinforces this idea—retirement isn’t an age, but a financial equation that can create more freedom in your life.

Workplaces can feel like a second home but it’s important to remember that work and colleagues are separate from your actual life . True belonging comes from the family and close friends who truly know, love, and support you. At the end of the day, your life happens outside of work, with the people who matter most.

Today we are talking about how to navigate overwhelming times and take back control of your life.

Right now, many people are feeling upset with the state of the world. It’s easy to get caught up in the chaos, but the real question is—what are you doing every day? Are your habits helping you move forward or keeping you stuck?

So… how do you create a sense of peace when everything feels uncertain?

One of the first steps is decluttering—removing the things that aren’t working for you. This could be physical clutter, mental clutter, or even emotional clutter. Pay attention to where your focus is going. If you’re only seeing what’s wrong, it might be time to shift your energy toward what is in your control.

I’m sharing more on how slow living and small daily changes can help you create a calmer, more intentional life—one step at a time.

In this episode, the idea of living a B+ life is explored, emphasizing that it's okay to not be perfect.

The pressure to impress others or achieve unattainable goals often leads to procrastination and burnout. Instead of striving for flawlessness, focusing on what's truly important to you and decluttering unnecessary distractions can help create a fulfilling life.

Happiness doesn't have to be delayed until reaching some idealized goal—it's possible to embrace contentment in the present.

Living a B+ life is about prioritizing personal happiness and success, not settling. It encourages taking small steps, such as spending 10 minutes decluttering or letting go of perfectionism, to build a more balanced and fulfilling life. It's okay to give yourself room to be imperfect and still thrive.

As we wrap up 2024, I’m bringing you one final encore episode to close the year with a message that’s been weighing on my mind: Everybody Has SOMETHING.

What does that mean? It’s simple—we all have a past. Maybe it’s something you’d like to change about yourself or something difficult you’ve been through. But here’s the thing: whatever your “something” is, it doesn’t define you, and it doesn’t justify your behavior.

In this episode, I’m reminding you that as adults, we have the power to choose our next steps. You can decide to move forward, to heal, and to create the life you want. If your past feels heavy, know that you’re not alone. There’s always help and hope waiting for you—don’t hesitate to reach out and take it.

Let this be your encouragement as we head into a new year. Let go of the weight of your “something” and seize the opportunities ahead.

Thank you for joining me throughout this year, and I can’t wait to see you in 2025 with brand-new episodes.

Welcome back to another encore episode! Today, we’re exploring a topic that so many of us can relate to: feelings of unworthiness.

I’ll be honest—I still struggle with these feelings. There are days when I catch myself thinking: “I haven’t done enough,” “my ideas aren’t fresh enough,” or even “my clothes aren’t right for this situation.” The good news? These feelings happen less and less as the years go by, and I’m here to encourage you to take the same journey.

If unworthiness is something you’re wrestling with, I encourage you to poke at it. Yes, it’s uncomfortable—like crawling through a mucky swamp or climbing a mountain straight out of an episode of Dora the Explorer. But the only way to get to the other side is to go through it.

    In this episode, I’m sharing:

My own experience with unworthiness and how I’ve worked through it.Why it’s essential to lean into the discomfort, even when it feels overwhelming.Encouragement to start your own journey through the “swamp” of self-doubt.

Let this episode remind you: you’re not alone, and growth comes from facing those tough feelings head-on.

Tune in, and let’s take one step closer to feeling worthy together. Want other episodes that are related to this topic? Listen to these previous episodes:

Welcome to our second encore episode! As we revisit some of the most impactful conversations from the podcast, today’s episode is all about redefining your relationship with data.

If you’ve been a longtime listener, you’ve probably heard me say this before: you are NOT a spreadsheet. And it’s true. But that doesn’t mean you should ignore the numbers altogether. When you’re working to improve your life—whether it’s your health, finances, or personal goals—tracking data is essential.

Here’s the catch: data is just data. It’s neutral. It doesn’t define you or determine your worth. This episode dives into:

How to collect data without attaching emotions or self-worth to it.Why separating your feelings from the facts is crucial to personal growth.Real-life examples of using data intentionally—like stepping on the scale during a health journey or reviewing your bank statement to improve your finances.Practical tips for keeping your emotions in check while staying accountable to your goals.

Whether you’re looking to declutter your mind, simplify your approach, or gain clarity on your progress, this episode will remind you to embrace the facts without letting them define who you are.

Tune in to this encore episode and learn how to use data as a tool for growth, not judgment.

Welcome to our first encore episode of the season! As we close out the year, I’m bringing back some of the most impactful episodes that continue to resonate with my coaching clients and community.

Today, we’re revisiting an important conversation about the role alcohol plays in your life. Is alcohol taking up too much space in your life? Is there a healthy place for it in your daily routine?

Here’s the key takeaway: exploring your habits doesn’t require a label. Deciding to examine your alcohol consumption—or anything else like food or social media—doesn’t mean you have a problem. Instead, it’s about staying curious and intentional about how these things impact your life.

In this episode, we’ll talk about:

Why labeling yourself isn’t helpful—and how to keep an open mind as you reflect on your habits. How to evaluate whether alcohol (or any habit) is actively helping you achieve your dream life. The first step in embracing a slow living lifestyle: decluttering what’s not working. The difference between Start Goals and Stop Goals, and how to integrate them into your daily habits.

This is an invitation to pause, reflect, and get curious. If something isn’t helping you move forward, it’s worth exploring why you’re holding on to it.

Tune in to this encore episode and start building the intentional, slow life you deserve.
