The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Rachel Grashow, PhD. Classified as a White Woman and a Suspected White Supremacist, “Grashow is the director of epidemiological research initiatives and co-investigator of Family Experiences Managing Football Lives (FEM-FL) for the Football Players Health Study at Harvard University. Grashow is also a research scientist at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health.” The last time Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs tussled with Jalen Hurts’ Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl, The C.O.W.S. welcomed Dr. Jessica Wallace to discuss her research that shows White coaches, White parents, and White players are more informed about the dangers of concussions than black coaches, parents, and players. Dr. Grashow’s research examines various elements of how tackle football destroys the brain computer as well the ways the System of White Supremacy exploits black football players while protecting the White Tom Bradys on the field. Part of her work specifically examines how black players are funneled to more dangerous positions, and are less likely to be thought of as or given the opportunity to be a “leader." Right on time for the broadcast, the Eagles' defensive back Cooper DeJean intercepted a Mahomes' pass and returned it for a score. Across social media, DeJean's shared nickname, #ExcitingWhites , began trending for the rest of the evening. The moniker highlights DeJean's racial classification as White in contrast with the fact that for decades White football coaches almost exclusively restrict this defensive position to black males. During our discussion, Dr. Grashow repeatedly insisted that White people are ignorant and/or unconscious about what Racism is and how it works. Taking things to the extreme, Dr. Grashow suggested that Whites at Harvard aren't as smart as Gus T. and that we shouldn't "hand over" power to White dominated institutions. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly summit on Neutralizing Workplace Racism 02/07/25 We'll recognize the gargantuan contributions of Neely Fuller Jr. to help non-white people counter-racism in the area of Labor. For decades Fuller invested his time and energy answering the phone calls and, often desperate, please of non-white people who were about to be fired from their jobs. Fuller's efforts and phenomenal workplace contributions - which include the use of the US Constitution, are directly responsible for the existence of the weekly Neutralizing Workplace Racism broadcast. We also discuss the ongoing attacks on "DEI" in the workplace which are shutting down "Black History Month" celebrations in the office. We even heard from a C.O.W.S. listener who had whole projects eliminated in response to corporate concerns that the programs might be "DEI" related. The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 7th study session on the late Dr. Maya Angelou's The Heart of A Woman. This is a rare "double dip" for the book club, as we read I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings in the summer of 2014 just after the transition of the famed author and Wake Forest scholar. Gus T. was inundated with the life and literary work of Dr. Angelou during his recent Golden State sojourn. And it took Gus seeing the documentary film Soundtrack to a Coup d'État three times to accurately write down the title Heart of a Woman. The extraordinary film on the assassination of Patrice Lumumba is "receipt-heavy," and Andrée Blouin and Dr. Angelou's respective memoirs are just 2 of the many books in the project. Last week, Dr. Angelou describes her involvement in the White French convict Jean Genet's play, The Blacks: A Clown Show. This celebrated show featured a cast of renown black thespians and was shown around the world. Dr. Angelou describes how mostly White audiences devoured the play, but continued their dedication to White Supremacy - even to the negro cast as soon as they stepped off the stage. The Suspected Racist director, Sidney Bernstein, shafted Max Roach and Dr. Angelou for their musical labor on the play. This is typical White Racism and the time-honored White tradition of robbing black artists. Bernstein was not ignorant about Racism. The Context of White Supremacy recognizes the passing of Neely Fuller Jr. Generally speaking, the passing of a Victim of Racism would warrant tremendous grief. However, Fuller humbly devoted almost a century's worth of time and energy to help Replace White Supremacy With Justice. Visit their website @ https://www.justiceforwyandotte.org In 2017, Ms. Nikki Richardson and Khadijah Hardaway co-founded the Kansas City, Kansas non-profit with a stated mission to: “Persistently foster sustainable communities in the KCK metro area by advocating for honest, accountable, and transparent governance and empowering people.” Both Ms. Richardson and Ms. Hardaway are classified as black females. Gus learned about Justice For Wyandotte while studying reportedly deceased Race Soldier Roger Golubski. The White former Kansas City Kansas enforcement officer spent over three decades brandishing a badge and gun before eventually transitioning to the FBI. After years of allegations and suspicion, Golubski was charged with sex trafficking crimes in 2022. On the day his criminal trial was set to commence, he allegedly took his own life with a stolen firearm. I'm not sure if the president gave a shout out to Danasia Elder, a North Carolina flight attendant, or Kiah Duggins, a newly hired Howard professor. Both black females perished in the crash. Elsewhere, some of the Whites Terrorists pardoned by Trump have used their new freedom to continue their violent clashes with law enforcement officers. Suspected Racist soldier and recently pardoned Matthew Huttle was shot and killed in Indiana after allegedly resisting arrest during a traffic stop. A tragic aviation collision resulted in 67 deaths when an army helicopter collided with an American Airlines passenger flight which plunged both aircraft into the frigid Potomac River. Before the victims could be identified or fully retrieved, our new president blamed the horrific incident on failed "DEI" policies and the antics of our former president. This week, Trump held a spicy press conference where he insisted that air traffic control is a demanding job that requires "geniuses," not unqualified lamebrains who are signed on to fill quotas and diversity objectives. President Trump lamented the Federal Aviation Administration's work to hire people with disabilities, and, without evidence, suggested these hiring goals contributed to the crash. We also hear how black entrepreneurs are impacted by the calls to boycott Target department stores in the wake of the corporation's decisions to renege their "DEI" commitments. These vulnerable business owners think they may lose out if black people don't walk the aisles to find their products. Last week, the late poet an Victim of White Supremacy told us about how she, Abbey Lincoln and other black females of the Cultural Association for Women of African Heritage helped to coordinate a rally on the New York United Nations building. This was in response to the assassination of Patrice Lumumba. Dr. Angelou grabbed a random black "thug" to help escort her into the building. NPR's Terry Gross, a Racist Suspect, interviewed Dr. Angelou in 1981 and confessed that she feared this privileged black "thug" was going to assault and "rape" our heroine in the UN stairwell. Thankfully, everyone kept their pants zipped. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Matthew D. Taylor. A White Man and California native, Taylor “is a religious studies scholar and expert in independent charismatic Christianity and Christian nationalism. He is the creator, writer, and narrator of the Charismatic Revival Fury audio-documentary series on the Straight White American Jesus.” Gus T. heard about Taylor’s 2024 publication, The Violent Take It By Force: The Christian Movement That Is Threatening Our Democracy,” during the 2024 US presidential election campaign. Reports once again predicted that White evangelicals would be a solid, White rock of support for Trump’s third try at the White House. Taylor’s work explores how the White evangelical bloc became such staunch, violent allies for our current, less than pious president. He highlights how many of the now-pardoned White Terrorists who stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021 believed they were soldiers in the army of White God who were battling against “dark,” satanic forces opposed to Trump’s second term. Gus is amazed The Peoples Temple’s Jim Jones was not mentioned in this book, as he’s is sterling illustration of the dangers of White evangelicals who deceptively use religious rituals to support the violence of the System of White Supremacy. The tackiness of this year's recognition of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s holiday was exponentially worse because of the inauguration of President Donald J. Trump - who invoked the name of Dr. King throughout the services to officially mark his return to the White House. Before Washington, D.C. could clean up from the festivities, President Trump was shredding the Equal Employment Opportunity acts as well federal employment related to so called "Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion." Additionally, a number of people have voiced concern if not fear that because of Trump's threats to deport undocumented non-white immigrants, many jobs staffed by Victims of Racism who lack proper paperwork may go unfilled. She agreed to marry Make (at least her 3rd fiancé), and introduced him to her 15-year-old son Guy as her new care mate. Guy continues to insist that he's a "man." The Context of White Supremacy makes time on the federally recognized holiday for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to study the work of Dr. Frances Cress Welsing. During Gus's Counter-Racist California Sojourn, he located a number of audio recordings of Dr. Welsing debating Dr. William Shockley as well as her giving lectures to groups of black people. One such recording is of a 1982 presentation the Grandcestor gave in Compton, California. She spoke at Compton Community College in April of '82, which is just over three years removed from the Jonestown massacre - which involved a large number of black Californians. Dr. Welsing makes time to mention the Peoples Temple in fact. She also discusses the sacrifices made and lessons that must be learned from the life and murder of Dr. King. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s federal holiday will be officially recognized by White people this coming Monday. Gus says expect some sort of tackiness from White co-workers over the next few days. #RacistJokes California is experiences nightmares as the death and property loss from the Southern California wildfires is still being calculated. Numerous non-white workers throughout the region lost their residence and/or their job because of the blazes or have had their health impacted by having to work in the midst of apocalyptic air pollution. And here in Gus T.'s Seattle, Washington state, King County Metro Workers honored non-white operator Shawn Yim who was stabbed to death by a White passenger earlier this year. Metro Transit operators, many of whom are classified as non-white, rallied to address the lack of safety for King County employees. According to reporting by Seattle's KING5 News, Yim allegedly exited the bus to confront his suspected killer who had pepper sprayed him before exiting the vehicle. Last week, Dr. Angelou described meeting Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in New York. Before departing Dr. King told Dr. Angelou that there are some "good White people." Dr. Angelou wondered if he said this because a White Man was listening. She later echoes Dr. King's conclusion, citing the Russians and Fidel Castro, who allegedly never self-identified as a White Man. While Dr. Angelou is globetrotting and drinking with White Men, her son is threatened by a gang of "worthless" black males. Her son Guy seems to insist with every other sentence that he: "Is a man." Dr. Angelou writes over and over about the impotence, unnecessariness, and failure of black manhood. The Context of White Supremacy hosts a Counter-Racist Review of the ongoing wildfires in the Los Angeles, California area. It's very likely Gus T. would not be hosting this broadcast and would have had substantially less to say if he skipped the recent visit to the "Golden State" and the "City of Angels" specifically. It's poignant that Gus's primary problem with Los Angeles was the air pollution - which agitated his sinuses for the duration of his time there. Also, Gus sat on the beach in Malibu - close to where some of houses have burned to ashes - and proclaimed that climate change would destroy all the White people's beachfront mansions and property in the area. He was thinking of the encroaching sea level and gave no thought to the routine and devastating wildfires. We'll review the impact of the Palisades, Eaton and other blazes that have killed at least 24 people and razed tens of thousands of acres. A half million children - many of them classified as non-white - missed school this week. And nearly a thousand convicts, again, many of them classified as non-white - have been deployed to battle the deadly blazes while being paid (roasted) peanuts per day. The National Guard has been deployed to detain and discourage "looters" and to restrict access to still smoldering properties. We'll also make time to review how the uncontrolled infernos have further poisoned the Southern California air - which was far from pristine for starters. This weekly broadcast examines current events from across the globe to learn what's happening in all areas of people activity. We cultivate Counter-Racist Media Literacy by scrutinizing journalists' word choices and using logic to deconstruct what is reported as "news." We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of terms as tools to reveal truth, neutralize Racists/White people. #ANTIBLACKNESS One week after the suspicious truck attack in New Orleans which left 15 people dead and many injured and the Las Vegas cybertruck attack, Los Angeles is being ravaged by wildfires. The Palisades fire has killed at least a dozen people and devastated thousands of acres of property. There were mandatory evacuations in areas of Los Angeles County where Gus T just visited (Santa Monica, Malibu). Gus' number one gripe while visiting SoCal was the toxic air quality. What's better than breathing? With the devastating fires, the air quality is even worse now. And if all this wasn't enough, there are widespread reports of "looters" ransacking evacuated houses. All of the reports Gus has seen thus far depict non-white "looters." The Context of White Supremacy (C.O.W.S.) Radio Program hosts the weekly summit on Neutralizing Workplace Racism 01/10/24 Courtesy of Dr. Maya Angelou's autobiography The Heart of a Woman, we ask non-white listeners if they would admit a lack of important skills when being offered a new job or promotion? Dr. Angelou chose to honestly divulge her shortcomings when offered a job early in her career. A number of non-white listeners shared their own view on this matter, and they chose to remain quiet while learning as much as possible while in the new position. We also hear a number of reminders about why non-white people should avoid wearing headphones/earbuds while in the workplace. It's vital to be cognizant of what's being said and happening around you in your work area. We'll also review the sentencing of Major Michael Stockin who, according to FOX13 Seattle news, "Pleaded guilty in military court Tuesday to a total of 41 specifications." This including groping the genitals of numerous male soldiers.
