Hello! This is Coach Marco from CrossFit Madera, a small functional fitness gym hidden in Central California. We recently got a little studio put together in the gym and I'm obsessed! and I want everyone else to be obsessed or at least hear about it. I sat down today with two members here at the gym, Danny & Jacoby, who could not be more different. Jacoby is young, Danny is old, Jacoby is Filipino, Danny is white, Jacoby does Martial Arts, Danny has been a CrossFitter for the last 3 years and a everything else for the past 40+ years. In my conversation with them today we talked about the fitness industry as well as misconceptions about fitness and what that word (fitness) means to us. I wanted to share this conversation because I was particularly fond of it and because I wanted to test the waters for this podcast that we want to launch. Every 2 weeks I'm talking to one or more of our members from the gym about anything and everything. Because here at CrossFit Madera, we are a community that has survived pandemics, recessions, wild fires, and more! I just want to show off the people who make this place CFM Strong!
