Katrina shares navigating mental health with endometriosis & emphasizes the years it takes to process the impact of Endometriosis on one's emotional well-being. Katrina shares her story and how working with a therapist helped her understand that "Endo is not rational." Many patients struggle with feeling well one day or hour to not feel well at all at the flip of a switch, as well as years of people not believing patients how challenging this disease is.

Dr Mathew Leonardi is an advanced gynecological surgeon and sonologist (ultrasound specialist) at McMaster University Medical Centre in Hamilton, Canada. He has been awarded his Ph.D. from the University of Sydney, which focused on the utility of ultrasound in diagnosing and managing endometriosis. We talk about non-invasive ways to diagnose endo, the challenges doctors and patients face in Canada, and much more. This podcast has inspired me to have more ways to diagnose endo sooner and without surgery.

Join me today as I chat with Jill; we talk about her treatment with Clear Passage and how it helped her on her fertility journey. Jill did not have any pain with her cycles- she did have heavy bleeding, and her Mother had endo, but because she did not present with the pain, she did not think she could have endo. Jill started to have cysts and pain when she started fertility treatments which led her to three surgeries and a stage 4 endo diagnosis. She wanted to find alternative methods to help her, and she went to Clear Passage- Larry joins us to tell us more about the method they use to break up adhesions and scar tissue.
TW: we do chat about pregnancy loss in this episode
