Our card this week is Tina Milford, the 9 of Hearts from South Carolina.
The stories we cover on this show have made me more aware than ever how even the smallest of choices and chance encounters can change the course of a personâs life. A last-minute decision, or even a shift in schedule, can have a positive impact⊠or⊠result in dire consequences.
And in the wee morning hours on June 24th, 1983⊠something out of Tina Milfordâs control placed the young mother on the same path as a predatorâŠ

Our card this week is Dana Chisholm, the Jack of Diamonds from Washington, D.C.
Iâve been telling victimsâ stories for 6Âœ years now. Iâve been a consumer of them for even longer. And in all that time, few stories have haunted me the way Danaâs has. Her killer was bold, so confident police would never catch him, that he taunted them. And for nearly 30 years, heâs been able to get away with it. But I think thatâs coming to an end. Because even though it seems like he tried to do everything he could to erase himself from Danaâs apartment and her life, it looks like he didnât cover all his tracks. He may have just left something behind that could finally give him away.
If you have any information about the murder of Dana Chisholm in February of 1995 in Washington, D.C., please contact the Metropolitan Police Department at 202-727-9099, or remain anonymous by texting your tip to MPDâs Text Tip Line at 50411. There is a $25,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest and conviction in the homicide of Dana Chisholm.
Danaâs case is one we wanted you to see with your own eyes. So for the first time everâŠ.. weâre inviting you to watch this episode with us as a VIDEO! Head over to our Crime Junkie YouTube channel to see Dana Chisholmâs case unfold.

Our card this week is Joe Laughlin, the Jack of Diamonds from South Carolina.
54-year-old Joe was a true âcountry guy", living a simple life in Anderson, South Carolina in 2012. He was a husband, father, provider, and handyman. It didnât take much to make him happy. All he needed in life was his family, his work shed, and an ice-cold beer. Why someone would want to gun him down inside his own home remains a mystery, even over a decade after his death. To this day, Joeâs widow has never remarried. Sheâs still living at their same little house, with Joeâs picture hanging up on the wall, waiting for the day when justice will finally prevail.

Our card this week is Bobby Ray Jones, the 8 of Clubs from Florida.
Bobby Ray Jones had just moved back to Walton County, Florida, in the late summer of 1971. It was a rebirth-of-sorts for this 33-year-old man. After getting caught up in a love affair and running off to Alabama, he had only recently returned to the sunshine state to try and reconcile with his wife. And seemingly, he was on track to do just that. He had already found a new job and a place to stay. Things were starting to turn around. So much so, that on September 29th, he even told his âmamaâ she had no reason to worry about him⊠and that he didnât have âan enemy in the world.â But the very next morning, Bobby Ray was murderedâŠ

Since the release of CounterClock Season 1, Delia has received hundreds of requests from families of victims of violent crime. In November 2022, one message in her inbox stood out from the rest. It was from a middle-aged woman asking for Delia's help investigating the mysterious death of her 27-year-old brother from 1991. The message stood out for one big reason. The man's mangled body was found in an all-too familiar place to Delia. Eastern North Carolina.
33 years after Douglas Wagg, Jr. turned up on a lone stretch of railroad tracks in the middle of the night in rural Martin County, and over a year since Delia took on the case, the scope of what was really going on in the area during the 1990s has come into view. Who was Doug? How did he end up so far from home? Who was he last seen with? Was the train really what killed him? Why was his case never investigated?
The journey to find the answers to those questions has revealed a web of small town secrets that feel like fiction, except they're not. Over the course of the Season 6 investigation Delia has interviewed more than 45 people, spoken with convicted murderers in prison, and traced the origins of a disturbing pattern of behavior within local law enforcement that may have resulted in a decades-long cover up of multiple deaths. The investigation into what happened to Doug Wagg appears to be just the tip of a very large, very complicated iceberg that someone has worked hard to keep hidden for more than three decades.
Access to all episodes of CounterClock Season 6 is now available at the $10 and $20 tiers in the Crime Junkie Fan Club App.
