She is well known for her public works and has won several prestigious awards, including the Knight Arts Challenge and the Kresge Artists Fellowship. Massey’s "7Mile + Livernois" exhibit opened at the Detroit Institute of Arts in May, featuring jewelry scaled “to the size of architecture.”
