Many struggle on their weight loss journey alone, but often times hiring a Coach in various phases is really helpful and very encouraging to their success!
Diet phasing is a lifestyle, but although there are no restrictions there are so many outside factors that contribute to decreased motivation and self sabotage. I encourage you to no stay silent when you feel like you failed and to pick yourself up and keep going. This is when a hiring a Coach can really be a game changer. Be accountable, be honest to yourself and to your Coach so that you can continue on with success and realize that you are never alone in your struggle.

I know many of you are or will get to a point where you are close to your weight loss goal and you are asking yourself the question of whether another Fat Loss phase is the right direction for you to head to or should you stay in maintenance. So I wanted to share with you where I am at because I am about five pounds ish off from my goal and as much as I would like to lean down, I just had to weight out the Pros and Cons to both phases to decide which was the right move for me right now in this season of life.
Ultimately when you listen to todays episode you will realize that yes, I want to lose fat but i am not so worried about the number on the scale. I definitely don't want to sacrifice my calories I am at in maintenance as I head in to summer, so with many other reasons in which you will hear in this podcast episode I am moving at tightening down on my maintenance phase and enjoying it through the Summer in which I will re-evaluate come fall.
I hope this is helpful to you if you are in this similar phase as I am.

How to Be Successful in Fat Loss:Fat loss success tips!! 1. Meal Prep what you can, Pre-Plan a little and Pre-Log your food to make sure it fits your numbers.2. Eat nutrient dense foods that keep you satiated3. Aim to eat protein with every meal. I would suggest 25-30 g/meal4. Don't purposely eat less then your calories/macros5. Track everything to the best of your ability. Something is better then nothing. If you go over, log it, see it and improve the next day.6. Water, Water & More Water!! I suggest a gallon a day, if you fall a bit short you are still looking pretty good!7. Get good sleep/rest! Prioritize it! Go to bed earlier, take away the distraction (phone) and aim for 7+ hours a night.8. MOVE YOUR BODY MORE!!! More movement matters!9. Most importantly be consistent & be patient with the process10. How do you start tracking using MFP (MyFitness Pal)?!
10 Quick Tips to get started.....
1. Download My Fitness Pal (MFP)2. Set up your profile with your age, sex, height and weight under the goals section3. Set up reminders in your phone to actually track your meals if you need them4. Start scanning in what your eating at each meal and eat normally5. At the end of each day hit the “complete diary’ button6. Look of your nutritional intake for the day to see where you ended for the day7. Rinse and repeat for 5-7 days8. Don’t adjust calories until you see what you normally eat. We need a baseline. 9. After 5-7 days, then make adjustments to calories (protein carbs and fats) so that you can find your maintenance , deficit or surplus calorie intake.10. You can't manage what is not measured Remember MFP is just a tracker and nothing more. It adds everything up that you input, but it is your job to make the appropriate changes and or hire a Coach to help you do so properly.

Many really are unsure and just don't know what signs to look for, when it comes to our bodies needing more calories.
Many don't honestly even realize that being in a calorie deficit and trying to lose weight shouldn't be a "lifestyle" but rather a quick in and out phase we go through before we reverse back up to maintenance.
