The White Hill Mansion is an iconic landmark in the historic town of Fieldsboro, New Jersey. Robert Field laid the foundation for a small home in 1722. From the humble beginnings of its first structure to its expansion, White Hill Mansion stands as a testament to the resilience of time. But its true character was revealed during the tumultuous years of the American Revolution. Mary Peel Field, the widow of Robert Field, opened her doors to both Hessian and Colonial troops, safeguarding the mansion from the ravages of war and earning its place in history. The stately mansion has seen many people come through its doors, from gangsters to servicemen and even prostitutes â and many still linger behind its walls.
Strange occurrences became commonplace, weaving a web of whispers and tales that branded White Hill Mansion as one of the most haunted places in New Jersey. From shadowy figures to chilling encounters, visitors have reported myriad paranormal experiences, further enhancing the mansion's mysterious appeal.
Today on the Grave Talks, Part One of our conversation with Event Coordinator Dawn Reichard about the mysteries of White Hill Mansion, where history and hauntings intertwine, and the echoes of the past refuse to be silenced.

Picture it: youâre out for a relaxing walk in the woods on a crisp fall day. Suddenly, off in the distance, there is a rustling of leaves, but thatâs not a deer. Thatâs not a bird. Donât you know what that is? Suddenly, fear kicks in, and you realize that youâre in the presence of an unknown creature, and it may be aware of you. Fight or flight drives you to run, but as soon as you get back to safety, the realization comes over you that this may be a story you can not share with others⌠if you want them to believe you are sane. These events and moments happened; today, we discuss them in Part Two of our conversation with Ryan Edward on The Grave Talks.

In the heart of Rock Island, Illinois, an unassuming old building holds secrets of its storied past. Once known as the local YMCA, itâs now a furniture store. But beneath its facade is a place where the past and the paranormal collide.
For decades, this building served as a bustling hub for the community, offering solace and recreation to its inhabitants. Yet, as time passed, whispers of hauntings began to circulate, with tales of shadows lurking in the hallways and apparitions making their
presence known. Even the former classrooms on the second-floor harbor distinct
spirits, while the upper storage spaces, once filled with the belongings of long-term boarders, now echo with ghostly footsteps and mysterious bangs.
But perhaps most chilling are the reports of shadowy figures darting from room to room and the unnerving sounds captured in one particular stairwellâa trunk elevator running up the centerâan area now infamous for EVP recordings of blood-curdling screams and doors slamming.
On this episode of The Grave Talks, Part Two of our conversation about the Haunted Rock Island Roadhouse with Kandi Slater, Event Coordinator.

This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!
Fort Mifflin in Philadelphia is a national historic landmark. It is one of the only intact Revolutionary War Battlefields and the only fort in Philadelphia. It was commissioned in 1771, and in the fall of 1777, it was bombarded and captured by the British. Hundreds of soldiers were killed or wounded in the brutal attack.
On a visit to Fort Mifflin, you would not only stand on a Revolutionary War battlefield but also be inside a Civil War Prison and next to a magazine storing gunpowder during World War II. With a rich history like that, itâs no surprise that Fort Mifflin is also haunted. It is widely regarded as one of the most haunted sites in America.
In this episode, we'll explore the history of the Fort and who might be haunting it with Beth Beatty, the Executive Director of Fort Mifflin. This is Part Two of our conversation.
Find out more about Fort Mifflin, as well as tour information and paranormal tours and investigations, at fortmifflin.us.
