How do renewable energy projects make an oil and gas portfolio more attractive to investors?
Hamish Wilson, CO-Founder at Be Bluenergy, shared that when IOCs invest in their Renewable Energy strategy, their stock prices go up, and are more likely to receive further funding. This is evident in recent events, with Dong, who has now become Orsted, and Iberdrola focusing entirely on renewable energy. Their stock price outperformed oil companies by a substantial margin.
