Hey Mommas,
Have you ever wondered what would it be like to have a Doula that had some medical knowledge to know what was going on to help advocate fo you? I've wondered the same. To the point that I almost wanted to start a school just to teach Doulas LOL But then I realized I'm already doing to much. Also figured that these unicorns already had to be out there and I was right, I found one.
Get comfy and listen to how this Doula got the fire to start on this journey AND how amazing her journey continues to be.

Hey Mommas
I know I promised you this episode way back in February but one, life is crazy and two life is just crazy. After this conversation I took a few days to really absorb what was said and to take a look at how I was treating myself. The words spoken on this episode are words that I've said to many mommas and words that rang so true for me but I let life pull me away from just being me. Just accepting me. Just loving on me. Just taking time to be with the girls I love. This episode, this conversation was just what I needed. After listening a few times...and even crying it out...I'm ready to share with you. My tribe.
Pull out your tissues because you will surely cry from laughing and just feeling. It's one of those vulernable conversations that you need to hear just so you know you are seen and you're not alone.
Click play now and join in.

Hey Mommas
I know alot of you are "Mature Mommas" but I have a few of you who are young or have young children that are on the journey to motherhood or fatherhood.
On this episode, I had the pleasure of speaking with Thlisha. She is a doula with a specific purpose and I can't wait for you to hear how she is answering the call. Her "lemons" were turned into lemonade just by ONE person adding sugar to her situation. Powerful word spoken to a teenager that was growing a life in her womb changed the trajectory of her life.
In this episode, you get a power lesson on the power of your words and what it means to step up and step in for someone in their time of need.
Teenage parenthood isn't the end of the word when you have the right resources and community supporting you. Thlisha is just that and more.
Hit play NOW and hear how she is pouring into this space and how we can do a better job as supporting these young people, even if it's only by offering words of encouragement.

Hey Mommas
So this episode is a quick reminder that it's okay to only choose positive people to go on your pregnancy and birthing journey. When someone starts to speak negativity over your life you can quickly and unapologetically say "Whew...you don't have to worry about me" and leave.
Sometimes I'm just here to give you permission so today I'm giving you permission to silence and leave negative people.
Click play NOW to get your fill of laughter and positivity for the week. Love yall.

Hey Mommas
So this episode is just a quick reminder to not forget who you are just because you became somone's Momma. You are still you, just with a mini person judging every little thing you do.
Don't forget to take the time to love on yourself. Get out and do things that you love without thinking about the little crotch fruit that you love and adore.
If you need to hear it from me, click now to listen.

Hey Mommas!!
Back again for another Doula Chat. I'm going to be honest with you, I've been trying for days to come up with a title for this episode but I just couldn't. I've listened several times and each time, I found another nugget and another title. At this point I'm like "Can I call it a chat about all the things with my best girlfriend?", which really isn't that far from the truth.
This episode touches on what a Doula is, what they add to the space, the relationship between Doulas and Physicians/Midwives, How to find the perfect Doula, how important "Vibe" is in that relationship...we talked about it ALL.
I wish you were there live but this recording is life changing enough. Pull up a chair, get comfy and hit play on another amazing conversation.
I introduce to you, Chena The Holistic Doula.

Hey Mommas,
You asked, and to be honest so I did I, so I'm going to bring more information on home birthes from the experts out there doing it. One thing I have learned in this sacred space called birth is, women are going to do what they feel they need to do. What I'm here to do is to keep them safe. So to my Mommas that want to have a home birth, this episode is for you because EVERYONE isn't a candidate. EVERYONE isn't practicing safe practices. The same way I want to keep women safe in the hospital, I have to do my part for women that choose not to use the hospital as their birthing space.
On this episode, I have a chat with Bethany. She is a certified nurse midwife that received her training from a high risk institution and also practiced there before opening her own practice and choosing to provide out of hospitals birthes. Today we have a candid discussion on who should attempt these deliveries and how to stay safe.
I'm open to learn and I hope you are too.

Hey Mommas!!
Freebirthing, let's talk about it...respectfully of course.
If you look through birthing history, there was never a time when birthing alone was celebrated or recommended. There was ALWAYS someone in the city, town, or village that was called to assist with labor and delivery. Then there was a team of support to help during the postpartum period. In every culture, there was always someone. There was always a community.
This episode is just a transparent conversation on MY opinion of freebirthing and why I 1. Don't think it's safe and 2. How there has never been a time where it was even "a thing". Except now it is and it's more performative vs beneficial.

Hey Mommas
I'm here to give you the real on the lies of social media. Snap back culture is NOT a thing. You're hearing it from someone that sees at least 50 postpartum bellies and bodies a week.
Stop trying to live up to the exception when your postpartum physical journey is the NORM.
If you want to hear what the snapback really looks like, click play NOW.
