We then chat heaps of Serie A, including Napoli finally losing again (to Lazio) and Juve getting unlucky vs Roma.
Heaps more plus YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED (ask more pls).

(NO EPISODE NEXT WEEK, SORRY IM IN ADELAIDE FOR THE FRINGE FESTIVAL, GET TICKETS IF YOU'RE THERE X) -
This week on the MSP I rant about the Twitter backlash I received in the wake of my comments on Born Offside about Garang Kuol and why football takes itself too seriously.
A PL ramble then ensues before a discussion about the FIFA World 11 awards, and everything in Serie A from last weekend.
Finally we do Sitter Of The Week and predictions for the weekend. Strap in! -

BUMPER EPISODE INCOMING!
All the ramifications of the Premier League weekend are expanded upon, including a thick title race, how Chelsea are garbage, and the battle of the 'battlers' with Fulham, Brighton, Brentford and Newcastle all overperforming magnificently.
We chat the astounding Bundesliga title race, Neymar's timely injury, the SUPER LEAGUE, the Champions League results, PLENTY of predictions which will probably be wrong, and YOUR QUESTIONS answered including a solid discussion of Serie B.
Make sure to catch me on @bornoffsidepodcast this week too!
SEND IN QUESTIONS/RAISE YOUR DAUGHTERS <3 -
This week's discussion of all the weekend's action centres around VAR controversies in the PL and Serie A.
I then compile my 11 of breakout Serie A stars from this season, before we crack into predictions for the Champions League and more!
Leave comments/suggestions for next week's sitter! -
This week my Sitheads we chat all about the PLs big boys all dropping points except for a Casemiro-less Man United and my boy Mitoma.
We then chat Serie A, with the Milan derby a damning indictment of Pioli's Milan, and why they're in big trouble.
Lasagna for this week is replaced by a hot serving of my top 10 players of 2022, and we have Balotelli's miss vs LA Galaxy as our SOTW.
ALL LOVE X -
Today we discuss all things DEADLINE DAY including Arsenal once again shopping in Chelsea's yard, except it might work out for them this time. SOUTTAR to Leicester, a dude playing with a GoPro on, Mark Clattenburg getting clattered out of Egypt, why you should PITY us Juve fans, and why I'm now a fully fledged B&H supporter.
Lasagna this week is a steamy serving; the time a player wore a rival clubs jersey to push through a move away from his current club, and Sitter Of The Week comes courtesy of Freddie Ljungberg.
I then give my predictions for big games this week. Raise your expectations for this episode as if they were your daughters! -
Ciao Sitheads!
Card on the table I spend a good 15-20 minutes talking about the Juventus situation today; I tried to be light about it but it's pretty dear to me so I hope it's at least informative.
We chat Premier League because Serie A is now ruined; Haaland cold takes, Almiron hot takes, Kane and Conte's Hotcakes, we cover it all.
Your lasagna this week is made fresh out of Adebayor's full pitch dash celebration vs Arsenal in 2009, and your sitter of the week is Van Vossen's howler for Rangers in the Old Firm Derby.
Let your friends know about this pod! And RYD4LYF x -
Today's episode covers a lot of the PL action from the weekend; with United winning the battle of the baldies and a Spurs fan kicking Arsenal's goalkeeper in defeat. Listen to how I think he should be punished, why I'm on Pique's side in his divorce story, and why Juve are not out of the scudetto conversation despite being pummelled by Napoli.
All that, your sitter of the week, and a bite into the tasty lasagna that is Steven Gerrard getting punked by a Chelsea mascot. Also some predictions for the weekend's big matches. RYD. -
HNY sitheads and welcome back to the show! I little mini episode for you to chow down on in anticipation for bigger things in 2023 (watch this space)
Today we chat about a few off the pitch shenanigans that went down between the WC ending and now, including why Salt Bae is a f%&khead, and Gareth Baling on football.
We then REVIVE the hot lasagne segment to chat about a time a professional ref got drunk, before introducing a new segment called SITTER OF THE WEEK!
Send me a message to suggest a sitter for next week, #ryd and have a happy 2023! -
I truly hope you all have enjoyed the Qatar 2022 World Cup as much as I have (having watched all 64 games live, not sure if I've mentioned) but even more so, this recap episode, because the technology gods conspired to make it the most impossible piece of shit to record and edit, all most all my soft and hardware malfunctioned on me.
BUT we made it, so please enjoy this bumper, final World Cup 2022 episode of Mr. Sitter, in which I discussed my Top 3 for a multitude of categories, including goal, save, coach, dickhead, funny moment, player of the tournament, and a few more too.
THANK YOU so much to everyone who followed along for the ride; please look forward to weekly episodes moving forward. Tell ya buds, like, subscribe, follow, review, leave questions, and take as much care as you can to bring those female children of yours into this world. XXX -
I did it sitheads...I watched all 64 games of the Qatar 2022 World Cup live, and this, the final, was the crescendo, the cherry on top of what has been a delectable football cake. Argentina are deserved victors, and to them go the spoils of this remarkable story which culminates in the best player to ever play, winning the only trophy that has escaped him in his career.
In this episode, I laboured, hungover, tired, drained from an engrossing final and an enchanting tournament, chatting basically about the game only. I will do a full recap episode in the next few days which will talk about the World Cup as a whole, but for now, cop this. -
Howdy friends! On todays MSP I chatted about the Melbourne Derby debacle, and a bit about FIFA and how they suck, based on the Netflix doc I just got around to watching.
I then chatted about the 3/4th play off which saw Croatia become the 11th European nation in a row to come third in the World Cup, seeing of darlings of the tournament Morocco, in what was a fairly unenjoyable match.
This of course precedes my preview of this evening's WORLD CUP FINAL! We finally made it, the promised land. I delineated all the reasons why I am desperate for Argentina to win, even though I'm fairly sure France will. Let's hope it's a belter, and not the cagey snoozefest it could be.
Vamos! -
The Qatar 2022 World Cup Final has been set, a somewhat inevitable PSG derby between Mbappe and Messi will come to pass, but today is all about the valiant Morocco, going down to the world champions today with their heads held high.
I chatted about the game, France's tactics, why this Morocco run has been so important, and finally, why this 3/4 playoff might be the best game of the entire tournament.
4 episodes to go in the World Cup special episodes of MSP; don't miss ANY! -
I'm in rare form guys. Today, obviously, I ripped into what happened as Argentina dispatched Croatia with aplomb, and broke down what went wrong for the Cros, and why Argentina seems so elevated by glorious purpose in this competition.
We also chat toxic football fandom comparing players illogically, recontextualise Moroccan ethnicity, preview the upcoming match v France, and explain why the A-League(s?) has become an arbitrary pluralisation, as informed by one of my listeners!
Y'all should message me/comment more sh%t, because it will make it onto the pod, if its kewl.
In the interim, you know the drill, raise those Argentinian flags with the same gusto as you raise your bloody daughters! -
A break in the action means today's episode covers a lot of arbitrary sh%t, including the A-League(s?) decision to put all the finals in Sydney forever, whether Kylian Mbappe is an asshole, whether we should give a flying f@#k if Ronaldo cries, and why I am better than Stan Sports.
I then ranked the potential outcomes in this World Cup from least to most favourable (in my occasionally, surprisingly, humble opinion) and do a little preview of the upcoming Croatia v Argentina clash!
Leave me a review and buy a mug, ya mug! -
The full semi final bracket is set! Morocco's fairytale continued as they defeated Portugal and are still yet to concede a goal to an opposition player in this tournament, while France beat England to send them, not it, coming home.
I discussed the matches, the fallouts, Messi's rage, why I don't think I will/probably still will keep making predictions in this wild tournament, and so much more.
Also my delirium (I've now watched 60 damn matches) sleep deprivation and COVID upturn have me silly...I daresay I'm at my best in this episode, so spend ya Sunday with me, and tell ya two friends to, too.
Leave me and ITunes review! Be cool and RYD. -
The predictions of myself (and the world) were flipped upside down when Croatia slayed the monolith that WAS Brazil, vanquishing Neymar's boys on penalties.
They set up a date with Leo's Argentina who (somewhat more predictably, but not by me) defeated a game Netherlands in a proper grudge match, which saw a lot of elbows, forearms, shoves and dives.
Forgive the intermittent cuts where I had to blow my nose, and when I said "definding" instead of defining. I still have COVID. And we still have quarter final matches tonight! I previewed and predicted Morocco v Portugal and England v France.
Raise your daughters and namaste! -
The COVID got me good guys so a short episode today, wherein I discussed Halilodzic and his failed World Cup hopes, Ghana and Cameroon players having to pay to be called up, and a bunch of other tidbits.
That's all before previewing the first two Quarter Final matches being Brazil v Croatia and Netherlands v Argentina. I don't plan on getting any more predictions wrong in this tournament, fyi.
Let me know your thoughts x -
Yet another gloaty episode today folks as the most overrated nation in this tournament are sent packing by the supremely talented Morocco, who triumph in a very one sided penalty shootout after a fairly morbid match.
Elsewhere, my prediction that Portugal v Switzerland would be boring as bat shit was turned on its head by Fernando Santos' unlikely decision to bench Cristiano.
Before we chew into that, I briefly discussed the Brazil dancing controversy, and my pick for the WORST ad of the World Cup.
Do me a solid and leave an Itunes review if you've been enjoying these, whack some comments on the posts, and be as cool as you have been X -
A sad day for Asia as Japan and South Korea bow out in contrasting fashion. The Group of Death toppers took the fight to Croatia and almost came out on top, but were simply terrible in the penalty shootout and will be going home with their heads very very high.
Meanwhile, the Koreans received first hand information about how f&$ked every team that isn't Brazil are. The World Champions elect put on a clinic and Croatia will be shaking in their picnic themed socks at the prospect of facing them.
All this and a quick chat about Saudi Arabia. Enjoy the final games of the R16 and remember to BE COOL X - Mehr anzeigen
