You care for everyone so well, but do not have the time, energy or belief left to care for yourself. I believe if we truly found ourselves worthy of the crown, found our worth as a daughter of the King and lived in that truth, we wouldn't find ourselves in Stressedout-ville or Burnout Bay. I think it all comes back to worth. self-worth. Do you know he created YOU as a masterpiece! And he planned all the good, amazing things you would do in this life- abundant life. And do you know he died for YOU? So that He could spend eternity with you in a perfect place with no sin or brokenness. God says you are worthy! Will you believe Him?Let's deep breathe, pray and meditate on the scripture and may it transform our hearts and minds.
The verse for our breath prayer is:
10 For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from aboveāspiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]. You care for everyone else. You know a lot about health and wellness and medicine. But, do you care for your own wellness? I was so bombarded with medicine, that it was very normal for me to pop 800 mg of ibuprofen for a headache, but not address my eating or sleeping habits. It was very normal for me to deal with gut issues for - my whole life really- and take my IBS diagnosis as B.S. and continue symptom management. Until I looked at my own holistic wellness as something to care for- to steward well- I cared for others WAY better than myself- and this took a toll. Can you relate? Ch cha changes.... I actually don't like when things change, but I've learned to appreciate the growth. If I'm abiding with Jesus, then when things change (not all) it's for my growth of more fruit. I have been in quite the pruning season and one thing that's been affected is this podcast. For one, I dropped to one episode a week. For two, Iām going to talk more to the person I was...which is a burnt out nurse. SO as they say in the business world, I'm niching down, you will hear me talk more directly to the nurse, healthcare provider. Hey Intentional Wellness Warrior!
In light of Good Friday being today and Easter Sunday, I bring you this breath prayer. Jesus conquered all sin and death on the cross for you and for me and for the world. AND THEN he rose 3 days later . His resurrection from the dead , victory over all gives us life. He is Risen and alive and that means as we receive this gift- alive in us!
As we live life, we get wrapped up in the stress of it all- even burnt out on stress - we have to remember Jesus is alive in us and gives all peace, joy, hope, love, strength, LIFE. He lives in us SO we can live.
Sit with this truth. Breathe it in and speak it out and as you do listen to what God is speaking back to you about Jesus Christ being alive and living in you.
Verse: āI have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.ā ā Galatians 2:20inhale: Christ is alive⦠Exhale: and lives in me.
