An Agile Business Analyst (BA) plays a pivotal role within any team. They are the lynchpin between business stakeholders and the development team, and therefore need to be flexible, collaborative and open to changing direction at short notice.
This podcast episode explores APMG's Agile Business Analysis course from the point of view of experienced trainer John Humphries; he tells us why he chose this certification, what he loves about the content of the course, how it differs from APMG's Agile Project Management certification, and why he wishes this qualification was around when he was starting his project management career!
"What I like about the Agile Business Analysis course is that it encourages focus on the wider business environment and strategic objectives, to ensure alignment of the underlying requirements and benefits. The course describes stakeholder identification and engagement with a range of people external to a project and highlights specific interactions with other members of the agile project level roles and solution development team." - John Humphries

Relatively new to APMG's portfolio is Agile Change Agent, a two day training course with certification which is designed to bridge the gap between the formal theories, models and techniques in Agile Project Management and Change Management.
Many Agile courses focus heavily on the theory of this approach, but the Agile Change Agent training course takes a different approach. On this course, participants will gain practical, hands-on experience of what Agile Change Management is and how to lead change initiatives within any organisation.
In this episode we speak to experienced trainer John Humphries; John has an extensive change management background involving practical consulting exercises, planning and running workshops in public and private healthcare environments. His agile project management experience was founded in systems development and more lately in product translation projects where time to market is a key driver. His insight into this course is excellent and will give you a sound understanding of the Agile Change Agent certification and its key benefits.
