In this episode I sit down with Avondale Rugby 1st XV Coaches Joseph Buchanan (JB) & Dominic Malo to chat about their vision for the team this year in 2022 and beyond. I also ask a few questions to get to know them better and have a few giggles along the way.
Tune in for a insightful conversation with two great men with big hearts for all the young men they coach and mentor. -
Jonah ran away when God called him to go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it.
Sometimes we are called to a vision and to lead, but we run away feeling that we are inadequate or not ready.
Good leadership and vision is rare, it always has been. In this episode I talk to Sharlene Atai who had her own struggles early on in life, but now embraces it and does a great job leading and guiding wherever she goes.
Tune in for an awesome chat with a quiet achiever who lifts and positively impacts any space she is called to.

Keep Chopping Wood - cutting edge and primal movements. Austin is a creative and intuitive thinker who backs himself. It was refreshing to talk to someone so young who pursued his passions, the truth, what is best for people and is brave enough to go against the grain because following your passions, pursuing the truth and doing what is best for people, is sadly not always the norm is our field of interest or in the world in general.
Tune in for a great chat!🗣 -

This series is a throwback series to when I started my podcast back in 2014 with a small camera and a handheld microphone that I borrowed from a close friend. Back then, podcasting wasn't that common and I didn't know know how to upload to a podcast platform yet, so it was only ever on YouTube until now. Excited to share and bring these episodes and memories back life in a time that I was heavily involved in CrossFit and made some great friends who kindly became my guests. Many things have changed for us all since the episode, so it's always fun to look back to where we were then and where we are now. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

In this episode we talk about the top 3 pieces of equipment you would get on a budget and with limited space.
Then, we switch it up and talk about our top 3 pieces of equipment we would get if money or space wasn't a problem.
We finish up by talking about our experiences with creating our own workouts vs following a program.
If you have any questions about the show or anything else to do with garage gyms, health or fitness, feel free to shoot them through.
Enjoy the show!

Podcast with Cory Gregory @corygfitness is now live!🔥
Been following Cory from when he was a guest on Barbell Shrugged about 6 years ago, so it was an honour to talk to him and ask him some questions.

He has also done A LOT as a businessman, from being the co founder of muscle pharm many years ago to starting his own supplement line @maxeffortmuscle and co founding the mid west mecca gym @joinarealgym and much much more!
There's plenty of gems in this one and his energy and enthusiasm is infectious! There's no way your not coming away from this episode uninspired!

Was good to start the year off by catching up and doing a round two with the bro Stefan Smith.
Although we have kept in touch through social media, it had roughly been two years since we caught up in person and did out last podcast together. What a blessing it was to be able to connect like that.
In this episode we mostly talk about the challenge Stefan has set out for himself, which is to do "Murph" (google it) everyday for who knows how long. His kaupapa is around Mental Health Matters and he shares the why, how and everything in between.
Plenty of great insight and some good banter mixed in this one. Enjoy the show! -
Was awesome to connect with Neven Antic who is doing great things with his athletes and members in Adelaide, Australia through his gym D8 Training.
Neven is really well spoken, thoughtful and very insightful, and not just in the gym or in athletic endeavours.
There's a lot of takeaways and practical things to put into practice in this one!
Enjoy the show!

New Podcast with Leighton Spellman @iam_famc is now live!🔥
In this episode, me and Leighton talk about many things but a main focus and passion for both of us is the development and mentoring of young kid's/teens through our love for sport, health and fitness.
Really enjoyed catching up and chopping it up with Leighton as we go way back and it's been cool to see his journey of growth and development over the years💯👌🏼 #ZealousStateofMind #WesWesNet #GuruofGainz #Coaching #Development #Mindset

Jim Wendler is most known for his 5-3-1 Training Program which has reached around the world with great success.
He is also known for his feats of strength in the world of powerlifting.
Over the last 5 years or so, Jim, along with his wife Juliet have volunteered as Strength and Conditioning Coaches for their local Junior High and High School football team. This is what we dig in and talk about most during this episode as it is a passion for the both of us.
I really enjoyed picking his brain and seeing how he has gradually built and set up his program with great success, but maintains that it wouldn't be possible without the support of his wife, the school, parents and local community.
Tune in for a great conversation and be sure to check out his website jimwendler.com to see all his training programs, articles, apparel and private forum that he mentions at the end of the podcast.

Me (Jan Zabawski) and Max are co-owners of Zealous CrossFit with our family.

Had a lot of fun catching up with Luke and learning more about his upbringing and background.
It had been a few years since we met and connected at the Hold The Stand Summit and we hit off right away.
Luke is doing great things in Christchurch as Head Coach at Hybrid Theory Training and with his business Reclaim Nutrition.
Luke shows a maturity beyond his years, is very articulate, a great a communicator and has his own podcast called The Holdfast Podcast.
Really enjoyed this chat, and had some good laughs as I'm sure you will too!
Enjoy!:)
