  • Day 1,477.

Today, as one of Russia’s largest oil facilities is struck in a Ukrainian attack and the war in Iran continues to sow chaos on global energy markets, we examine growing pressure on European governments to ease sanctions on Russia – just as US representatives meet one of Vladimir Putin’s chief economic advisers. Alongside the updates, we bring you a special exclusive interview with one of the authors of a groundbreaking United Nations report on the Ukrainian children taken to Russia, concluding that a permanent member of the Security Council is systematically committing crimes against humanity.

  • Day 1,476.

Today, as US envoy Steve Witkoff says “we can take them at their word” after Russia denies sharing intelligence about American forces with Iran – before adding “let’s hope they’re not sharing” – we examine the latest tensions between Washington, Moscow and Tehran. We also analyse a Ukrainian deep-strike operation that raised fresh questions about Russian air defences after a loitering drone was able to film the attack. Then we bring updates on Ukrainian counterattacks in the south, where two operations now appear to have pushed around 10 kilometres into Russian lines, and hear a final dispatch from Adélie in Ukraine. Later, we speak to former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

  • At the dawn of the twentieth century, a writer emerged who learned his craft not in a classroom, but in battlefields, bullrings, and bars. To some, Ernest Hemingway was the greatest writer of his generation. A Nobel laureate whose sparse, muscular prose changed literature forever. But to others, he was a swaggering egotist, a man addicted to danger and performance, obsessed with his own legend. His own life fuelled his work, just as his work in turn fed his own myth. But behind the mask he forged through his writing lay a man haunted by fear, violence, and the tyranny of bravery.

But why, more than sixty years after his death, does Hemingway remain a symbol of masculinity and modernism? Who were the people whose lives were swept up in the hurricane of his own? And how did the same passions that made Hemingway great also destroy him in the end?

This is a Short History Of Ernest Hemingway.

Out of nowhere, he decided to quit and start again, the rest, as they say, is history.
Today, Jimmy shares with us the actionable lessons in how he did it and how they are relevant to YOU. • William Clouston, leader of the SDP, shocks by calling himself more conservative than most Tories while demanding an end to mass migration and evidence-based borders.

In this no-holds-barred Heretics interview, Andrew Gold sits down with William Clouston, leader of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), who reveals why he believes the SDP is economically to the left of Labour yet far more socially conservative than Nigel Farage or the modern Tories. Clouston pulls no punches on Britain's deepest crises: the devastating housing shortage made impossible by unchecked mass migration, the failure of liberal "magic soil" assimilation fantasies, the importation of culturally dissimilar attitudes from "backward societies" (backed by evidence like Pew data on antisemitism and crime stats), and why progressive denial of reality is anti-empirical bigotry.

He dismantles Owen Jones-style fact avoidance, explains why proximity and national interest must trump global altruism, critiques trans ideology's assault on truth and categories, and outlines the painful sacrifices needed to rebuild Britain—massive grid and nuclear investment, welfare cuts to fund house-building, ending de-industrialisation, and reclaiming state capacity in energy, rail, and water. Clouston discusses his SDP-Reform electoral pact, views on Tommy Robinson, the collapse of Christianity in Britain amid religious immigration waves, and why economic and social liberalism are "two cheeks of the same backside" destroying the nation. He praises Trump and Vance for proving borders can be enforced, admires philosopher Epicurus as his favourite heretic for rejecting gods and embracing simple, desire-limited living, and urges viewers to reject fantasy politics for evidence-based truth. If you're tired of woke denial and want real solutions rooted in faith, flag, family, borders, and national prosperity, this is must-watch.

Lauren the Insider, a former PR guru and goddaughter of George Michael, joins us to expose the darkest secrets of the British establishment. In this explosive interview, she reveals what she claims is the hidden truth about the Royal Family, the media, and the political elite.

Has King Charles secretly converted to Islam? Lauren presents shocking evidence of his deep ties to Islamic centers, his allergy to the word "Christian," and how he may have sold out the country for a globalist agenda. She details a shocking incident involving £1 MILLION in cash being delivered to the Palace in a Fortnum & Mason bag from Qatari royals.

We also dive into the media's complicity in burying major scandals. Learn how Keir Starmer allegedly uses "D-Notices" to suppress stories about the migrant crisis, and why Meghan Markle's name appearing in the Epstein flight logs was completely ignored by the mainstream press. Lauren, who has worked with the biggest names in media, explains the toxic, co-dependent relationship between the Palace and the press, and how they collude to control the narrative.

This is a conversation the establishment does NOT want you to hear.

  • Day 1,468.

Today, as war in the Middle East escalates and Putin attempts to position Russia as a potential peace broker, we examine Zelensky’s claim that if Gulf States pressure Moscow towards a ceasefire in Ukraine, Kyiv could offer air defence support in return. We analyse claims that Ukraine captured more territory in February than Russia, and assess France’s extraordinary shift in its nuclear posture and what it means for European security. Then we bring you a dispatch from Adélie in Irpin, and speak to an elections expert to debate whether Ukraine can realistically hold presidential elections in the event of a ceasefire.

Paul Fitzharris, a retired Bedfordshire Police detective with 21 years service, spent 14 years in child protection investigating horrific online child abuse, indecent images, contact offenses, and child sexual exploitation. In this raw interview he exposes the daily trauma of viewing CSAM, knocking on doors of hidden pedophiles (doctors, lawyers, even cops), family cover-ups, maternal failures to protect, escalating depravity from images to live-stream abuse, grooming via games like Roblox, sextortion of young kids, and why the justice system often fails victims with soft sentences.

  • Misha Glenny and guests discuss one of the wonders of the natural world. In 1875 in the western Pacific, the crew of HMS Challenger discovered the Mariana Trench which turned out to be deeper than Everest is high, by two kilometres. Trenches like Mariana form when one tectonic plate slips under another and heads down and there are around fifty of them globally. While at one time some thought it was too dark and deep for life there and others wildly imagined monsters, the truth has turned out to be much more surprising.

  • Day 1,467.

Today, as the world reacts to escalating conflict in the Middle East and the devastating use of attack drones against civilian areas, we examine how Donald Trump’s confrontation with Iran could impact Russia’s war in Ukraine and the strategic calculations in both Kyiv and Moscow. We report on the latest shadow fleet tanker boarding operation linked to sanctions enforcement against Russia, and bring you an update from Adélie in Kyiv. And later, we feature a panel recorded at the Black Sea Security Forum in Odesa, with former Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Valeriy Chalyi, former US Ambassador to Ukraine William Taylor, and former Italian Senator and Deputy Foreign Minister Gianni Vernetti, discussing transatlantic security and the future of Ukraine.

  • From the deserts of Central Asia to the gates of ancient China, from the bazaars of Persia to the harbours of the Mediterranean, the Silk Roads were never just one route. A living network of paths, mountain passes, and caravan trails, they carried not only silk and spices, but stories, beliefs, technologies, and ideas that would reshape entire civilisations. For more than a thousand years, they connected worlds that might otherwise never have met, and, in doing so, transformed them. The Silk Roads have witnessed empires rise and crumble, faiths spread and evolve, and cultures meet, merge, and create anew.

But what drove people to risk their lives travelling them? How did they impact the disparate worlds they joined together? And why, even today, do the Silk Roads still matter?

This is a Short History Of The Silk Roads.
