What makes you a heretic? Journalist Andrew Gold believes that, in an age of group-think and tribes, we need heretics - those who use unconventional wisdom to speak out against their own groups, from cancelled comedians and radical feminists to cult defectors and vigilantes hunting deviants.
Learn from my guests how to rebel, think differently and resist social contagion. From Triggernometry's Francis Foster and the world's most cancelled man Graham Linehan to ex-Hasidic Jew Julia Haart and gender critical atheist Richard Dawkins. These are the people living with the weight of their own community's disappointment on their shoulders. -
What if you were sent to war with a shovel and pickaxe, in lieu of a gun? In 1914, the world was at war. Thousands of Canadian men rushed to their local enlistment centres, eager to join the fight. But, when Black men went to enlist, they were turned away. It was "a white man's war," they were told. Canada didn't want a "checkerboard army." What followed is a story of rejection and resilience, and of service in the face of bigotry.
Join us as we explore the remarkable history of No. 2 Construction Battalion, Canadaโs only all-Black battalion during the First World War, uncovering their legacy, contributions, and the untold stories of Black Canadian soldiers in our latest podcast on military history, diversity, and heritage.

Since recorded history, women only occupy around 0.5 % of recorded history when they make up 50% of the population. History of females should be placed back into the historical narrative; heroines should be recorded and not hidden from society like a Scarlet Letter. This demonstrates there is a gap in history written about women.
Sooooo, I plan on changing that one book at a time and one podcast at a time. I will be very direct, not sugarcoating anything, and provide primary and secondary sources to prove that these historical events occurred. Don't worry, I will talk about men too. -
