  • In this captivating collection of eight mysteries, Father Brown, an unassuming, modestly dressed, and clumsy Catholic priest, proves himself an extraordinary detective. Unlike previous collections, these tales are set primarily in America and feature American characters. Father Browns humble nature often leads him to be overlooked by professionals and those of higher status. Yet, his keen observation skills and ability to make rational sense of the ordinary set him apart. His method of detective work is a stark contrast to Sherlock Holmes fact-based deductions. Instead, Father Brown utilizes his deep understanding of human nature, gained through years of serving the poor and hearing confessions, to unravel seemingly inexplicable mysteries. His unique approach allows him to see what most people miss, turning overlooked details into solutions.

  • The Mechadova Engine is a queer steampunk audio drama.

The story follows Log, who has spent their entire life, as far as they can remember, alone inside a single library train carriage in the sky. Their only knowledge of the outside world is limited to books from a long time ago on earth.

Log has never thought to question their existence or the world outside, until one day their carriage stops. Here, they meet Tinker, a member of a resistance group, who turns their world upside down.

It's a story about meaningless structures, the power of community, and how knowledge is preserved and retold.

  • New York Times bestselling author Sir Terry Pratchett makes Death a central character in Mort, his fourth sojourn to Discworld, the fantasy cosmos where even the angel of darkness needs some assistance.

Death comes to everyone eventually on Discworld. And now he's come to Mort with an offer the young man can't refuse. (No, literally, can't refuse since being dead isn't exactly compulsory.) Actually, it's a pretty good deal. As Death's apprentice, Mort will have free board and lodging. He'll get use of the company horse. And he won't have to take any time off for family funerals. But despite the obvious perks, young Mort is about to discover that there is a serious downside to working for the Reaper Man . . . because this perfect job can be a killer on one's love life.

Terry Pratchett's profoundly irreverent, bestselling novels have garnered him a revered position in the halls of parody next to the likes of Mark Twain, Kurt Vonnegut, Douglas Adams, and Carl Hiaasen.

The Discworld novels can be read in any order, butMortis the first book in the Death series.

We'll point all those out (pardon the pun... no, don't... there will be lots of those too). So join us and find out WTF other people are laughing about. Who knows? You might even get to laughing too.

  • Going Postal is Terry Pratchett's 33rd Discworld novel, released in the United Kingdom on September 25, 2004. Unusually for a Discworld novel (other than the children's books and The Science of Discworlds) Going Postal and its sequels are divided into chapters. These chapters begin with a synopsis of philosophical themes, in a similar manner to some Victorian novels and, notably, to Jules Verne stories. The book has been interpreted as a satirical attack on right-wing libertarianism in general and a parody of the writings of Ayn Rand in particular. The name comes from the expression 'going postal'.

The book was on the shortlist for the Nebula Award for Best Novel. It would also have been shortlisted for the Hugo Award for Best Novel, except that Pratchett withdrew it, as he felt stress over the award would mar his enjoyment of the Worldcon[1][2]. This was the first time Pratchett had been shortlisted for either award.
