What makes you a heretic? Journalist Andrew Gold believes that, in an age of group-think and tribes, we need heretics - those who use unconventional wisdom to speak out against their own groups, from cancelled comedians and radical feminists to cult defectors and vigilantes hunting deviants.
Learn from my guests how to rebel, think differently and resist social contagion. From Triggernometry's Francis Foster and the world's most cancelled man Graham Linehan to Robbie Williams and gender critical atheist Richard Dawkins. These are the people living with the weight of their own community's disappointment on their shoulders. -
Take a Wander with Shebs showcases some of the top personalities in the tourism industry.
What distinguishes this podcast from other travel podcasts? Each episode tries to take my guests on a journey to uncover matters they may not have discussed on their platform or in the media. The show's subjects for discussion will cover more than simply travel locations, favourite places or foods, and how to travel efficiently.
I go deeper into why and what an individual may have learnt from a trip or what influence an event or occasion had on their lives whilst travelling. There are no topics that are off-limits. The podcast's goal is to keep listeners guessing and to motivate them to travel, learn, and be better individuals overall.
Get ready to be inspired and Take a Wander with Shebs! -
Assa Marra: โA Love Letter to West Cumbria and the Legend I Marriedโ
This 18th December marks 16 incredible years since I met my husband, madcap adventurer and total legend, John Williamson. To celebrate this milestone, Iโve created Assa Marraโa 10-episode podcast series that is as much a tribute to him as it is to the place we both hold so dear: West Cumbria.
West Cumbria has been the backdrop to our love story. Its rugged landscapes, rich history, and incredible people mirror the qualities I adore in him: strength, humour, indomitable nature, and an unstoppable spirit. Over the years, weโve found inspiration in the stories of this countyโs remarkable characters, from legends like Josh Naylor to the everyday heroes whose contributions have gone unnoticed.
Through Assa Marra, I weave our love story with the soul of West Cumbria. These 10 episodes are deeply personal, recounting not only the moments that have defined our relationship but also the beauty of the people and places that have been part of our journey.
Assa Marra blends highlights from my previous podcast, Gobsmacked!, with brand-new radio interviews, creating a unique tapestry of stories that celebrate both our personal journey and the vibrant spirit of West Cumbria.
As the creator of Gobsmacked!โa podcast loved in 114 countriesโIโm thrilled to use this platform to bring West Cumbriaโs charm, humour, and spirit to a global audience. Above all, Assa Marra is my gift to John: a celebration of the life weโve built together and the magical county that continues to inspire us.

Hello! My name is Emily Charash and I am from New York City. In 2021, I decided to spend my summer at the University of Alaska Fairbanks in Fairbanks, Alaska. I wanted to meet new people, explore a new place, and take classes you could only find in the 49th state. For this show, I teamed up with UAF to bring you along on my summer adventures. You’ll meet the friends I made, you’ll shadow me in my classes—“Fly Fishing Weekend,” “Archeology Field School” and several others— and you’ll hear my thoughts as a New Yorker traveling and taking classes in Fairbanks, Alaska.

This is another podcast about football. But it is also not really, when you think about it, about football. It is about the football industry, about that gauzy web of characters who determine how the game is consumed, about why we think what we think about the world's most popular pastime. Libero is a free-form discussion group featuring a rotating cast of guests, all of whom have spent longer than they probably realise writing and talking about football, and all of whom nurse a particular bias against your specific club.

As avid adorers of Harry Potter, many spells live in our mind, but among many, the spell "illegibilus" - making writing impossible to be read - prompted us to think: then, what make something readable? So, we present "Legibilus," a space where scattered thoughts are gathered, unresolved questions are offered new answers, and every object, however miniscule, can be read.
