This is NOT a podcast about cancer. It’s actually more of a celebration of life and a journey of happiness, a voyage built on a simple but powerful truth: That YOU hold ALL the cards to achieve your dreams and to live your very best life.
A few years ago, I received my cancer diagnosis and it felt like my world had caved in. But my journey through treatment and recovery also forced me to recognise many uncomfortable truths about my life.
I’d neglected myself. I’d pushed down trauma and worried about everything and everyone all the time. Getting ill made me realise I had to stop sweating the small stuff and make lasting changes for the better. Quite literally, cancer cured me from all that crap, and in its own strange way, proved to be the catalyst that’s led me to an infinitely happier life.
I want to share positive, uplifting energy with you all, to help you unlock your potential and finally free the happiness that’s inside of you. You totally deserve it.
I’ll be talking to amazing guests who’ll share their stories and knowledge on a myriad of subjects, ranging from nurturing our hormonal health, to self-care in winter; from heart-wrenching stories of being bullied for being poor to becoming a multi-millionaire, to self-healing from Multiple Sclerosis; from cyclical living and nervous system regulation, to overcoming binge eating disorders, lymphatic drainage and a thousand more subjects besides.
Along the way, we’ll meet inspiring entrepreneurs, powerful healers, incredible wellness experts, psychologists, coaches and amazing ‘ordinary’ people like you and I, who’ve gone through stuff and come back stronger.
I’ll be talking to them all and inspiring you to get out of your own way and live your best life. I’d be delighted if you’d join me.

The QUILTED BANANAS Radio Programme provides lively coverage of news, politics, activities, interviews and music for queer women and non-binary folk. It focuses on Wellington region activities, but also covers national and international news. As an acronym our name stands for: Queer, Intersectional, Intersex, Lesbian, Takataapui, Trans, Enby, Diverse ... Bisexual, Asexual, and Nanas (because a lot of us also identify as nanas). As a metaphor, QUILTED BANANAS is about celebrating all the slippery overlaps these communities can have.
QUILTED BANANAS started life as the Wellington Lesbian Community Radio Programme, airing under that name for more than 35 years until our revamp in 2019. We continue to receive funding from the Armstrong and Arthur Charitable Trust, which generously supports lesbian-interest activities in Wellington.
The programme is run by a collective of presenters and technicians and we always welcome new volunteers – if interested, email our heirloom address: [email protected]
We value respect and we don’t do gender-policing. -

Do you believe in yourself? Without the applause, without the title, without shame? For 80% of women, the answer is no—and it’s holding us back. Self-doubt is the invisible pandemic stopping us from chasing dreams, climbing the ladder, and avoiding burnout.
The Limitless Equation is here to change that. This podcast uncovers the authentic leadership power of women running some of the most impressive businesses in Australia and gets them to share it with us. Each episode dives deep into the formula for breaking through our limits: Self-Leadership × Self-Care ÷ Superpowers = Self-Belief.
Each episode is a masterclass from women doing the work, teaching us how to lead with intention, care for ourselves, and own what makes us extraordinary. Because when we learn together, we rise together.
Ready to unlearn your limits in business?
