“The hosts beautifully communicate how a tragedy can impact a town and its people in devastating ways.” Time magazine “Meticulous and thoughtful … The podcast is vastly more soulful than so many of its peers, in large part by functioning as an exploration of how a tragedy, mixed with spectacle, can redefine and consume the terms of a place, a person, and a time." Nick Quah, Vulture “One of the few podcasts that caused us to drive in pointless extra loops in total silence, just so we could hear another episode. West Cork is the new Serial. It may even be better.” India Knight, The Times "Knocked me out like no other podcast since S-Town. A masterpiece." Patrick Radden Keefe, author of Say Nothing

  • Conspiracyland Season 3 — "The Secret Lives and Brutal Death of Jamal Khashoggi" — is an eight episode series, hosted by Yahoo News' Chief Investigative Correspondent Michael Isikoff, that investigates the grisly state-sponsored assassination of Saudi Arabia's most prominent journalist after he dared to criticize the country's powerful Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, or MBS. Isikoff has uncovered new details about the murder, including notes based on confessions by the assassins during secret Saudi interrogations. The series is based on more than 50 interviews with friends, colleagues, and lovers of Khashoggi, as well as senior U.S. and Saudi officials, including former Secretary of State John Kerry, former national security advisor John Bolton, former deputy national security advisor Ben Rhodes and former U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Joseph Westphal.
